One of Guyra Paraguay’s objectives is to carry out environmental education and public policy activities, multiplying the impact of the organization through the focus upon the training and education of community members (such as teachers, Peace Corps volunteers, local decision makers, political figures, or locally-respected citizens) in different areas to promote awareness about conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity, with an emphasis on birds and their habitats.
This programme is currently working with numerous organizations implementing a national awareness plan about sustainability.
Key to the work of any sector of society is internal communication, within the organization, and external communication with the Paraguayan public so that it may become aware of the conservation work being carried out and choose to support or join this great effort.
